De Marinis ISO 25 PLUS P2AP anti-wind anti-downdraught terminal G50
The De Marinis P2AP is a Chinese-style weather, anti-wind and anti-downdraught terminal for the ISO 25 PLUS G50 insulated twin-wall flue system.
It is installed at the top of the chimney and features a large upper cover designed to protect the outlet from direct precipitation while providing increased shielding against wind.
Its configuration makes it particularly suitable for exposed installations subject to strong wind, rain or snow, while maintaining the openings required for combustion-product discharge.
The P2AP is available in versions P2AP80, P2AP100, P2AP130, P2AP150, P2AP180, P2AP200, P2AP250 and P2AP300.

What the P2AP is used for
The P2AP completes the upper section of the chimney and protects the flue outlet against weather exposure.
Its geometry helps to:
- protect the upper opening against rain;
- reduce direct entry of snow and precipitation;
- provide increased shielding from lateral wind;
- help reduce weather-related downdraught effects;
- maintain the openings required for flue-gas discharge.
Chinese-style anti-wind terminal
The P2AP features a large upper weather cover above the flue-gas discharge area.
The cover has a greater diameter than the central body, providing protection against direct precipitation and increased shielding from wind action.
Technical note: an anti-wind or anti-downdraught terminal can help reduce the influence of adverse weather conditions but does not replace correct chimney sizing. Draught, chimney height, pressure losses and outlet position must be assessed as part of the complete flue design.
P2AP ISO 25 PLUS and I2AP ISO 25
De Marinis also offers a terminal with a similar function within the ISO 25 range, identified as I2AP.
P2AP and I2AP perform the same general role within their respective product ranges: both are intended to provide weather, anti-wind and anti-downdraught protection at the chimney outlet.
The correct component must be selected according to the De Marinis flue system installed.

The G50 classification corresponds to a 50 mm clearance from combustible materials in the certified De Marinis system configuration.
Important: G50 applies exclusively to the certified ISO 25 PLUS configuration installed according to De Marinis instructions.

How to read the technical drawing
- Øn: diameter dimension identified by De Marinis in the P2AP drawing;
- H: overall terminal height;
- Ød: diameter of the inner terminal body;

Installation
