Palazzetti Sahara 70: Hot Stone heat-storage wood stove
Palazzetti Sahara 70 is a wood-burning stove featuring distinctive Black Hot Stone cladding, designed to store part of the heat generated during combustion and release it gradually over time.
The range is available in two configurations:
- Sahara 70S – 9.7 kW;
- Sahara 70SP – 9.4 kW with O2Brick technology.

Hot Stone heat-storage cladding
The key feature of Sahara is its Hot Stone cladding.
This material stores part of the heat generated by the wood fire and releases it progressively over time, increasing the thermal inertia of the stove.
Both Sahara 70 versions are supplied in Black Hot Stone.
O2Brick technology on Sahara 70SP
The Sahara 70SP version features Palazzetti O2Brick technology.
The catalytic system is designed to reduce particulate emissions from wood combustion.
According to the 2027 Palazzetti price list, particulate emissions are 10 mg/Nm³ at 13% O₂ for Sahara 70SP compared with 14 mg/Nm³ for Sahara 70S.
Thermofix® firebox with cast-iron base
Sahara features a Thermofix® firebox with cast-iron base, designed to withstand high combustion temperatures and support efficient heat transfer.
Natural radiant and convection heating
The stove distributes heat through radiation and natural convection without requiring forced ventilation.
The Hot Stone cladding adds a heat-storage effect, extending heat release after the most intense firing phase.
External combustion-air connection
Sahara is designed for external combustion-air ducting.
The correct configuration must always be checked by a qualified installer according to the building and applicable regulations.

A+ energy class, 5-star rating and incentives
Sahara 70S and Sahara 70SP are rated A+, comply with Ecodesign 2022 requirements and achieve the Italian 5-star environmental rating under D.M. 186.
Palazzetti documentation refers to Conto Termico incentives for both configurations. Actual eligibility for Conto Termico 3.0 depends on the installation, the appliance being replaced and compliance with all applicable requirements.
