Palazzetti Sahara 80 is a 12.4 kW wood-burning stove featuring distinctive Black Hot Stone cladding.

Hot Stone is designed to store part of the heat generated during combustion and release it progressively over time, combining the immediate warmth of the wood fire with increased thermal inertia.

Hot Stone heat storage

Sahara's defining feature is its Hot Stone cladding.

The material absorbs part of the thermal energy produced by the wood fire and releases it gradually over time, increasing the thermal inertia of the stove.

Sahara 80 is supplied in Black Hot Stone.

Thermofix® firebox with cast-iron base

The stove features a Thermofix® firebox with cast-iron base, designed to withstand the high temperatures generated by wood combustion.

Natural radiant and convection heating

Sahara 80 distributes heat by radiation and natural convection, allowing silent operation without forced ventilation.

The Hot Stone cladding adds a heat-storage effect, extending heat release beyond the most intense firing phase.

External combustion-air connection

Sahara 80 is designed for external combustion-air ducting.

Palazzetti Sahara 80 is rated A+, complies with Ecodesign 2022 requirements and achieves the Italian 5-star environmental rating under D.M. 186.

Palazzetti documentation refers to Conto Termico incentives for Sahara 80. Actual eligibility for Conto Termico 3.0 depends on the installation, the appliance being replaced and compliance with all applicable requirements.

Installation and chimney

Sahara 80 uses a Ø180 mm flue outlet.

The Palazzetti technical manual specifies a reference chimney draft of 12 ± 2 Pa.

The chimney must be correctly sized according to appliance output, flue height and geometry, building characteristics and the manufacturer's instructions.
