The manually operated safety pulley, with patented braking system, essential for lifting weights in general, is particularly suitable for the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding.
It is possible to use the pulley with ropes of diameter 18-20 and diameter 22, by moving the wedge to the right or left side of the pulley itself.
The writing shown indicates on which side the wedge must be positioned according to the diameter of the rope used.

During the ascent and descent phases of the load, the implement works like a normal pulley, ie when the rope controlled by the operator assumes a position that is not parallel to the vertical of the load. If the rope is abandoned for any reason (voluntarily or accidentally), the falling load makes the abandoned rope slide, which is positioned parallel to the vertical and which, by friction, drags a sliding wedge until the rope is compressed against the fixed pin, blocking the descent of the load.
