DISEC Rok Sferik BDS68D1P – Euro Cylinder Protector for ATRA/DIERRE Locks
The DISEC Rok Sferik BDS68D1P is a mechanical security protector for Euro profile cylinder locks with compatible ATRA/DIERRE mounting arrangements and 31 mm fixing centres. Its hemispherical carbonitrided steel body shields the exposed cylinder against breaking, pulling and drilling attempts. DISEC declares grade 4 burglary resistance for this protector.
Rok Sferik construction and Flex System
The hemispherical external profile reduces accessible gripping surfaces for tools used in forced-entry attempts. The carbonitrided steel construction provides mechanical protection around the cylinder while maintaining a front opening for normal key insertion.
The Flex System uses reinforced fixing screws. DISEC states that this arrangement offers up to five times the resistance of the conventional fasteners used as its reference.

Compatibility and installation
The BDS68D1P uses 31 mm fixing centres for compatible ATRA/DIERRE locks. It must not be confused with the BDS16 model, which uses 38 mm fixing centres.
Before installation, check the cylinder position and projection relative to the external door panel, the fixing-hole spacing and the escutcheon dimensions. Protector height must suit the existing lock arrangement to ensure correct key operation.
A DISEC cylinder protector spacer is listed separately in the Matteoda catalogue for mounting adjustments. Its suitability must be confirmed for the specific installation.
