Palazzetti Ecofire Martina Idro Lux 10: 8 kW sealed hydro pellet stove

Palazzetti Ecofire Martina Idro Lux 10 is a sealed hydro pellet stove designed primarily to transfer heat to a central-heating water circuit.

Despite its commercial name “Martina Idro Lux 10”, the current Palazzetti configuration provides a nominal heat output of 8 kW, of which 6.8 kW is transferred to water.

The stove combines a steel structure with heavy cast-iron components and an integrated hydronic package including circulation pump, safety valve, closed expansion vessel and pressure gauge.

8 kW total output and 6.8 kW to water

When selecting a hydro pellet stove, it is important to distinguish between total useful heat output and the amount actually transferred to the heating-water circuit.

Martina Idro Lux 10 provides 8 kW nominal total output, with approximately 6.8 kW transferred to water.

Most of the useful energy is therefore directed to the hydronic heating system.

Hydro heating

Martina Idro Lux 10 is designed to heat the technical water of a compatible central-heating system.

Depending on the hydraulic design, it can be connected to radiators, fan coils, compatible radiant systems, thermal storage or more advanced multi-source heating systems.

It is not a fan-assisted hydro stove: its primary function is to transfer useful heat to the water circuit.

CC50 sealed combustion

Martina Idro Lux 10 is a CC50 certified sealed pellet stove.

CC50 means that combustion-chamber airtightness is verified at a pressure difference of up to 50 Pa according to EN 16510.

Combustion air can therefore be supplied directly from outdoors rather than being taken from the installation room.

This feature is particularly relevant in modern well-insulated buildings, low-energy homes and properties equipped with controlled mechanical ventilation.

Steel structure and cast-iron components

The stove features a steel structure with metal cladding, while the door and burn pot are made from heavy cast iron.

The ceramic glass incorporates an air-wash system designed to help reduce deposits on the inner surface.

Integrated hydronic unit

Martina Idro Lux 10 includes an integrated hydronic unit comprising:

• circulation pump;
• safety valve;
• closed expansion vessel;
• pressure gauge.

The integrated equipment simplifies connection to the heating system but does not replace correct hydraulic system design and sizing.

Integrated anti-condensation valve

An integrated anti-condensation valve helps manage return-water temperature and reduce operating conditions that could promote condensation inside the heat exchanger.

8 flue-gas tubes with turbulators

The firebox uses 8 flue-gas tubes fitted with turbulators, designed to enhance heat transfer from the combustion gases to the hydronic circuit.

Combustion Dynamic Control

Combustion Dynamic Control helps maintain the correct balance between pellet fuel and combustion air under different operating conditions.

This contributes to stable and efficient combustion as operating conditions change.

Controls and heating-system integration

Martina Idro Lux 10 features a digital touch control panel with daily and weekly scheduling.

An integrated interface is also provided for an external thermostat or buffer tank, supporting installation in more advanced hydronic systems.

Smart-control compatibility

Martina Idro Lux 10 is designed for the optional Universal Gateway, providing access to compatible Palazzetti smart functions.

My Cli-Mate+ and Shape+ require Universal Gateway or MyDisplay+.

25 kg hopper and pellet consumption

The current configuration features a 25 kg pellet hopper.

Pellet consumption ranges from approximately 0.82 to 1.79 kg/h, with a maximum indicative operating time of around 30 hours.

Installation and system sizing

Martina Idro Lux 10 must be connected to a correctly designed hydronic heating system and a suitable chimney.

With 6.8 kW delivered to the water circuit, selection should be based on the actual hydronic heat demand rather than floor area alone.

A++ energy class, 5-star rating and incentives

Palazzetti Ecofire Martina Idro Lux 10 is rated A++ and achieves the Italian 5-star environmental rating under D.M. 186.
