Palazzetti Ecofire Dadò Idro 10 TC is a 10.3 kW sealed hydro pellet stove designed to transfer the vast majority of its useful heat to a central-heating water circuit.

From a total nominal heat output of 10.3 kW, up to 9.5 kW is delivered to the heating water.

The stove also features an extra-large 45 kg pellet hopper, integrated hydronic components and automatic combustion and cleaning systems.

10.3 kW total output and 9.5 kW to water

When selecting a hydro pellet stove it is essential to distinguish between total useful heat output and the amount of heat transferred to the water circuit.

Dadò Idro 10 TC operates from approximately 4.6 to 10.3 kW total output, while the output transferred to water ranges from approximately 3.9 to 9.5 kW.

At nominal output, therefore, more than 90% of the useful heat is made available to the central-heating circuit.

Hydro heating without a room fan

Dadò Idro 10 TC is primarily designed to heat the water of a central-heating system.

Unlike fan-assisted hydro stoves, Dadò 10 has no dedicated room-air fan. Most of the useful heat is transferred to the water circuit, while a smaller proportion is naturally released into the installation room through the appliance body.

Depending on the hydraulic design, it can be connected to radiators, fan coils, compatible radiant-heating systems, thermal storage and more advanced integrated systems.

Domestic hot-water production is not built into the standard Dadò Idro 10 TC configuration.

Extra-large 45 kg pellet hopper

One of the distinguishing features of the Dadò range is its 45 kg pellet hopper, equivalent to approximately three standard 15 kg bags.

With pellet consumption ranging from approximately 1 to 2.23 kg/h, maximum indicative operating time can reach around 45 hours at minimum load.

CC50 sealed combustion: what does it mean?

Dadò Idro 10 TC is a CC50 certified sealed pellet stove.

CC50 means that combustion-chamber airtightness is verified at a pressure difference of up to 50 Pa according to EN 16510.

Combustion air can therefore be supplied directly from outdoors rather than being taken from the installation room.

This is particularly relevant in modern well-insulated, low-energy buildings and homes equipped with controlled mechanical ventilation. Installation compatibility must always be assessed by a qualified installer.

Double door and Balanced Door

Dadò TC features a double-door arrangement, with an aesthetic glass outer door and a technical combustion-chamber door.

The technical door includes the Balanced Door self-balancing mechanism.

Integrated hydronic unit

Dadò Idro 10 TC includes an integrated hydronic unit designed to simplify connection to the heating system.

The unit includes:

• circulation pump;
• safety valve;
• closed expansion vessel;
• pressure gauge.

The integrated components do not replace correct system design. Water volume, heating emitters, operating temperatures, thermal storage and any additional safety and control components must be assessed for the specific installation.

Integrated anti-condensation valve

An integrated anti-condensation valve assists correct management of the return-water temperature and helps limit operating conditions that could promote condensation inside the heat exchanger.

Self Cleaning System

The Self Cleaning System automatically cleans both the pellet burn pot and the heat-exchanger tubes.

This helps maintain consistent heat transfer and reduce routine manual intervention, although scheduled maintenance remains necessary.

Complete Burning System

The Complete Burning System promotes more complete combustion of residual material, helping reduce ash production and improve fuel utilisation.

Star pellet-feed system

Palazzetti's Star pellet-feed system precisely meters the quantity of fuel supplied to the burn pot, helping maintain stable combustion across different operating conditions.

Smart-control compatibility

Dadò Idro 10 TC is designed for the optional Universal Gateway, allowing compatible functions to be managed through the Palazzetti digital ecosystem.

Installation and hydronic system sizing

Dadò Idro 10 TC must be connected to a correctly designed hydronic heating system and a suitable chimney.

Although the hydronic unit and anti-condensation valve are integrated into the appliance, system design must still consider the building heat demand, water volume, heating emitters, flow and return temperatures, any thermal storage and other heat generators.

A++ energy class, 5-star rating and incentives

Palazzetti Ecofire Dadò Idro 10 TC is rated A++ and achieves the Italian 5-star environmental rating under D.M. 186.
