Palazzetti Ecofire Mirella Idro 13: 10.9 kW sealed hydro pellet stove

Palazzetti Ecofire Mirella Idro 13 is a sealed hydro pellet stove designed primarily to transfer useful heat to a central-heating water circuit.

Despite its commercial name “Mirella Idro 13”, the current Palazzetti configuration provides a 10.9 kW nominal heat output, of which 10.3 kW is transferred to water.

Mirella combines Palazzetti hydronic technology with a refined design featuring painted-steel cladding, a cast-iron top and a curved-glass aesthetic outer door.

10.9 kW total output and 10.3 kW to water

Mirella Idro 13 provides 10.9 kW nominal total heat output, with 10.3 kW transferred to the heating-water circuit.

Most of the useful heat is therefore directed to the hydronic system.

Hydro heating

Mirella Idro 13 is designed to heat the technical water of a compatible central-heating system.

Depending on system design, it can be connected to radiators, fan coils, compatible radiant-heating systems, thermal storage or integrated multi-source heating systems.

It is not a fan-assisted hydro stove: its primary function is to transfer useful heat to the water circuit.

CC50 sealed combustion

Mirella Idro 13 is a CC50 certified sealed pellet stove.

CC50 means that combustion-chamber airtightness is verified at a pressure difference of up to 50 Pa according to EN 16510.

Combustion air can therefore be supplied directly from outdoors rather than being taken from the installation room.

Curved-glass design and cast-iron top

Mirella Idro features painted-steel cladding, a cast-iron top and an aesthetic curved-glass outer door.

A technical door behind it incorporates Palazzetti's Balanced Door system.

Integrated hydronic unit

Mirella Idro 13 includes an integrated hydronic unit comprising:

• circulation pump;
• safety valve;
• closed expansion vessel;
• pressure gauge.

The integrated equipment simplifies connection to the heating system but does not replace correct hydraulic system design and sizing.

Integrated anti-condensation valve

An integrated anti-condensation valve helps manage return-water temperature and reduce operating conditions that could promote condensation inside the heat exchanger.

8 flue-gas tubes with turbulators

The firebox uses 8 flue-gas tubes fitted with turbulators, designed to improve heat transfer from the combustion gases to the hydronic circuit.

Combustion Dynamic Control

Combustion Dynamic Control helps maintain the correct balance between pellet fuel and combustion air under different operating conditions.

Controls and system integration

Mirella Idro 13 features a digital touch control panel with daily and weekly scheduling.

An integrated interface is also provided for an external thermostat or buffer tank.

Smart-control compatibility

Mirella Idro 13 is designed for the optional Universal Gateway, providing access to compatible Palazzetti smart functions.

My Cli-Mate+ and Shape+ require Universal Gateway or MyDisplay+.

25 kg hopper and pellet consumption

The stove features a 25 kg pellet hopper.

Pellet consumption ranges from approximately 0.82 to 2.40 kg/h.

Installation and hydronic system sizing

Mirella Idro 13 must be connected to a correctly designed hydronic heating system and a suitable chimney.

With 10.3 kW delivered to the water circuit, appliance selection should be based primarily on the actual hydronic heat demand rather than floor area alone.

Palazzetti Ecofire Mirella Idro 13 is rated A++ and achieves the Italian 5-star environmental rating under D.M. 186.
