Colombo Design Impero KIM11R: brass door handle on rose

Impero KIM11R is an interior door handle from the Colombo Design Antologhia collection, made of brass and supplied in a traditional rose-mounted configuration.

Impero reflects the traditional concept of architectural hardware as both a functional fitting and a decorative element. The lever features richly worked detailing with hand-chiselled finishing, giving the handle its distinctive classical character.

Classical design and hand-chiselled detail

Impero is one of the more decorative designs in the Antologhia collection. Its hand-chiselled detailing gives the lever a richly worked surface and a stronger visual presence than the more restrained models in the range.

The rose-mounted configuration creates a lighter composition than the backplate version, visually separating the lever from the lock escutcheon and allowing the handle itself to remain the principal decorative feature.

With or without return spring

The Impero series is available with different rose configurations. The KIM11R version incorporates a return spring, while KIM11RB is supplied without an integrated return spring. The appropriate version should be selected according to the lock mechanism and door specification.

Traditional Italian craftsmanship

Impero belongs to Colombo Design's Antologhia collection and reflects the company's Made in Italy manufacturing tradition. Traditional production methods are combined with a significant element of manual craftsmanship and hand finishing, particularly in the chiselled decorative details.
