The DISEC A2584 is a ribbed galvanised steel reinforcement plate designed for the lock area of up-and-over garage doors. With overall dimensions of 420 × 300 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, it provides additional reinforcement around the locking mechanism and can be used when repairing damaged door panels.
The A2584 plate provides additional support for the sheet metal surrounding the garage door lock, helping to resist deformation and tearing during attempted forced entry.
Its ribbed profile distinguishes it from flat reinforcement plates and requires matching the plate geometry to the existing door panel. It can also be used as part of suitable repairs to damaged lock areas, following an assessment of the existing mounting points.
