The DISEC PS0600 is an internal mechanical protector for the release lever of locks fitted to up-and-over garage doors. It shields the internal release mechanism, helping resist attempts to operate the lever from outside through openings made in the door panel.
Some garage door locks are equipped with an internal release lever that allows the door to be opened from inside.
The PS0600 is installed around the lock to shield this lever, making it more difficult to reach and operate using tools inserted through the outer metal panel.
It is a passive mechanical protector, not an additional keyed lock. It is designed to protect the existing release mechanism without replacing the main door lock.

The PS0600 is intended for compatible FASEM, ISEO, PREFER, VIRO, NEMEF and CISA garage door lock configurations. Compatibility depends on the release lever position, lock geometry and available mounting clearance.
Before installation, compare the protector with the existing lock and ensure that normal release operation from inside the garage remains possible.
