The DISEC A2466 is a flat galvanised steel reinforcement plate designed for the lock area of up-and-over garage doors. Measuring 300 × 270 mm with a thickness of 3 mm, it provides additional reinforcement around the locking mechanism and can be used when repairing damaged door panels.
The plate strengthens the garage door panel around the lock, spreading the mounting load across a wider area. It can also be used during repairs where the sheet metal around the locking mechanism requires additional support.
Its flat surface distinguishes it from DISEC ribbed reinforcement plates. The appropriate version depends on the door panel profile and the position of the existing lock.
