The MILLENIUM Sweden 90° elbow is a flue fitting designed to create changes of direction in the internal flue connection of wood-burning stoves, range cookers and solid-fuel appliances.
It is manufactured from 2 mm thick ferrous steel and finished with a matt black porcelain-enamelled coating. Its robust construction is designed to withstand the temperatures and operating conditions typically associated with wood-burning appliances.
The 90-degree elbow allows two sections of the stove pipe to be connected at a right angle, helping adapt the flue route between the appliance outlet and the chimney inlet to the layout of the installation.
The 90° elbow is used when the direction of the flue route needs to be changed, for example when connecting a vertical pipe to a horizontal section or when the chimney inlet is not directly aligned with the stove flue outlet.
Before purchasing, check that the selected diameter matches:
The 2 mm thick steel construction provides strength and long-term stability.
The matt black porcelain-enamelled finish protects the steel surface and provides a clean appearance suitable for visible indoor installations, matching the other components of the MILLENIUM Sweden range.
The male-female connection is designed for joining compatible pipes and fittings from the same range and with the same diameter.
For correct fitting, use the elbow with MILLENIUM Sweden pipes, fittings and accessories of the same diameter.
The use of components from different flue systems should be checked beforehand to ensure dimensional, technical and regulatory compatibility.
Every change of direction affects the flow of combustion gases and the draught characteristics of the installation.
The number and type of elbows should therefore be assessed according to:
Where the installation allows, unnecessary sharp changes of direction should generally be avoided.
The elbow must be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with the appliance manufacturer's instructions, the characteristics of the chimney system and applicable regulations.
Do not use this component to pass through walls, floors, ceilings or roofs unless this application is specifically covered by the system certification. Dedicated approved components must be used for these areas.
