The De Marinis DESIGN SDRSB domed cover plate is a finishing accessory designed to cover and finish the opening around a flue pipe where it passes through a wall, partition or ceiling.
Its domed profile provides a neat finish around the pipe, concealing the edge of the opening and improving the overall appearance of the installation.
The cover plate is manufactured from 2 mm ferrous steel with a matt black finish matching the other components of the De Marinis DESIGN range.
It is available in nominal diameters Ø 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 180 and 200 mm.
The SDRSB is used to conceal the opening around a flue pipe passage and provide a cleaner, more uniform finish at the wall or ceiling.
It is particularly useful for visible indoor installations where the appearance of the pipe-to-wall connection contributes to the overall aesthetics of the stove or fireplace.
The cover plate does not form part of the flue gas path and does not change the flow of combustion products: it is installed around the outside of the pipe as a finishing element.
Before ordering, select the diameter matching the flue pipe used in the installation.
Compared with a flat cover plate, the domed profile of the SDRSB creates a raised section around the flue pipe and provides greater coverage around the opening.
The matt black finish also maintains visual continuity with the pipes and accessories of the DESIGN range.

The DESIGN range is manufactured from 2 mm ferrous steel with a matt black finish and is intended for indoor metal flue systems, particularly for fireplaces and wood-burning stoves.
For correct dimensional compatibility, select the cover plate with the same nominal Øn diameter as the pipe.

Technical note: all SDRSB variants have H1 = 5 mm and H2 = 8 mm. The internal diameter Øi is 4 mm larger than the nominal Øn diameter, while the external diameter Øe ranges from 185 to 265 mm depending on the selected size. Always refer to the technical drawing included on the product page.

The cover plate is positioned around the flue pipe where it passes through the wall or ceiling.
The supporting surface should allow stable fixing and a neat finish. Any adhesive or fixing system used must be suitable for the materials involved and for the temperatures present in the installation area.
The cover plate must not interfere with pipe joints or be used to reduce the safety clearances required by the flue system.
