De Marinis DESIGN SDMA female-female anti-condensation sleeve

The De Marinis DESIGN SDMA female-female sleeve is a component of the DESIGN flue system mainly used to reverse the connection direction between flue components for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and biomass appliances.

What the DESIGN SDMA sleeve is used for

The SDMA sleeve is used where the direction of the flue system joints needs to be reversed.

Its female-female configuration allows two components presenting male ends at the connection point to be joined correctly.

This component is commonly used at the base of the flue system or in specific installation layouts where the direction of the joints must be changed.

Before purchasing, select the correct diameter and check compatibility with the other DESIGN components in the installation.

Anti-condensation separator ring

The SDMA sleeve features an anti-condensation separator ring designed to provide the correct connection geometry where the direction of the joints is reversed.

Correct joint orientation is important in a flue system and must comply with the manufacturer's installation instructions and the technical configuration of the system.

Important: the SDMA should not be treated as a generic universal connector. The need to reverse the joint direction and the correct position of the component must be determined according to the flue system configuration and De Marinis installation requirements.
