    Description
    BOSTIK® SUPER SEALANT CAMINETTI & STOVE
    REFRACTORY MASTIC
     
    Refractory filler based on soluble glass.
    Withstands temperatures of + 1000 ° C, with peaks up to + 1250 ° C for short periods.
    Suitable for permanent closure of joints and cracks in chimneys, ovens and flues.
    Can be used to repair the exhaust pipes of cars and engines.
     
    Application fields
    For the repair and sealing of joints, cracks and crevices of chimneys, fireplaces,
    stoves, flues and for mounting and sealing fireplaces and barbecues in
    concrete. Also suitable for temporary sealing of exhaust systems
    of cars and engines. Adhesion to metal, stone and concrete. Not indicated for
    central heating and gas pipes.

    · Heat resistant up to 1250ºC
    · Forms a very hard joint

    Preparation
    Conditions of use: Apply only at temperatures between + 5 ° C and
    + 40 ° C.
    Surface requirements: The surface must be dry, clean and free of
    dust, rust and grease.
    Preliminary treatment of the surfaces: Degrease the metals with acetone.
    Before applying on porous surfaces, it is advisable to moisten with water
    material.
     
     
    Applications
    Yield: Content sufficient for a length between about 8 and 15 m (depending on
    junction diameter).
