Description
DISEC OR02D1 – Surface-Mounted Mechanical Euro Cylinder Protector
The DISEC OR02D1 is a surface-mounted mechanical protector for Euro profile cylinder locks, designed for installation on the outer face of the door. It is suitable for wooden and non-armoured doors fitted with compatible locks and mounting arrangements. Its 54 mm diameter circular body provides additional protection around the cylinder keyway.
Construction and operation
The protector features a circular body with a front opening allowing normal insertion of the Euro cylinder key. The D1 rotor configuration has a 5 mm high key opening.
Its surface-mounted design provides external protection without necessarily requiring a recessed fitting within the door panel. The protector uses two M6 threaded fixing points with 38 mm centre-to-centre spacing.

Compatibility and installation
The DISEC OR02D1 is intended for doors fitted with Euro cylinder locks and suitable protector mounting points. Before installation, check the fixing-hole spacing, cylinder position and available clearance on the external door surface.
Particular attention should be paid to the cylinder projection, which must remain within the 13.5 mm limit specified for this model, and to the compatibility of the D1 key opening with the existing cylinder key.
