The DISEC A2627 is a ribbed galvanised steel reinforcement plate designed for the lock area of up-and-over garage doors. With overall dimensions of 450 × 300 mm, it provides a broad reinforcing surface and may also be used as part of a repair to damaged door panels.
The A2627 plate is designed to strengthen the sheet metal surrounding a garage door lock. Its ribbed construction and extended surface provide additional support around the existing locking mechanism.
It may also be used during repairs to sheet metal damaged by attempted forced entry, subject to the condition of the door and its fixing points.

The plate features mounting provisions and openings around the lock area for installation with suitable cylinder protection systems. Selection must take into account the garage door dimensions, the ribbed panel geometry and the position of the locking mechanism.
Before installation, compare the A2627 dimensioned drawing with the existing door, checking the fixing-hole positions and clearance around mechanical components. The plate does not include a lock or cylinder protector.
