The DISEC drilling guide kit is designed to centre the mounting hole for cylinder security protectors on reinforced door panels. It consists of a dummy guide cylinder and a shaft with a Ø6.3 mm connection that replaces the standard hole saw pilot drill. Two versions are offered: DF03 for 38 mm standard fixing centres and DF07 for 31 mm ATRA fixing centres.
When installing a cylinder security protector, the hole in the door panel must be correctly aligned with the lock cylinder and the existing locking mechanism.
The dummy cylinder provides a centring reference, while the guide shaft replaces the usual hole saw pilot drill. This arrangement helps position the cutting tool accurately and reduces the risk of drilling an off-centre hole.
DF03 – 38 mm Standard: designed for cylinder protectors using the standard 38 mm fixing configuration.
DF07 – 31 mm ATRA: intended for cylinder protectors with 31 mm ATRA fixing centres.
Both versions perform the same drilling alignment function, but they are not interchangeable when the protector fixing centres differ.

Position the dummy cylinder in the lock's cylinder mounting arrangement and replace the hole saw's pilot drill with the guide shaft supplied in the kit. The shaft engages with the dummy cylinder to establish the correct drilling axis.
Before installation, verify the cylinder protector fixing centres, compatibility of the Ø6.3 mm guide shaft with the chosen hole saw, and the cutting diameter required for the security protector.
Important: select the correct version: DF03 – 38 mm Standard or DF07 – 31 mm ATRA. The hole saw is not included. Contact Matteoda customer service to verify compatibility and estimated delivery times.
