Its flat profile provides a simple and neat finish around the pipe, concealing the edge of the wall opening and improving the overall appearance of the installation.
The cover plate has a matt black finish matching the pipes and other accessories of the De Marinis DESIGN range, making it particularly suitable for visible indoor installations.
It is available in nominal diameters Ø 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 180 and 200 mm.
The SDRS is used to conceal the edge of the opening through which the flue pipe passes, providing a cleaner and more professional finish.
It is particularly useful where a flue pipe passes through an internal wall and the opening is larger than the external diameter of the pipe.
The cover plate is installed around the outside of the pipe and does not form part of the flue gas path.

Technical note: on all SDRS variants the internal diameter Øi is 8 mm larger than the nominal Øn diameter. The external diameter Øe is 108 mm larger than Øn and ranges from 228 to 308 mm. Always refer to the technical drawing included on the product page.
Comparing the flue pipe diameter, Øi internal diameter and Øe external diameter helps verify both compatibility with the pipe and the effective coverage available around the wall opening.
The SDRS cover plate is positioned around the flue pipe at the point where it passes through the wall or surface to be finished.
It should sit correctly against the supporting surface without interfering with the joints between flue components.
Any fixing system used must be suitable for the materials and temperatures present in the installation area. The cover plate must not be used to support the flue pipe or to alter the safety clearances required by the flue system.
