The De Marinis DESIGN SDRT45E 45° telescopic cover plate is an accessory designed to finish inclined flue pipe penetrations through walls and ceilings in installations for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and biomass appliances.
Its telescopic construction with 45° connection allows the component to adapt to the geometry of an inclined pipe penetration.
The SDRT45E is particularly suitable for installations where the vertical chimney section is positioned coaxially with the appliance and the connecting flue passes through a wall or ceiling at an angle.
It is manufactured from 2 mm carbon steel with a matt black high-temperature finish matching the pipes and accessories of the De Marinis DESIGN range.
The cover plate is secured using fixing plugs and is supplied with felt. It is available in nominal diameters Ø 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 180 and 200 mm.
The SDRT45E is used where a connecting flue passes through a wall or ceiling at approximately 45° and a neat finishing element is required around the pipe penetration.
An inclined penetration creates a more complex opening than a perpendicular flue pipe passage.
The SDRT45E configuration is specifically designed to provide more effective coverage around this type of penetration.
The component fits around the outside of the pipe and does not form part of the direct flue gas path.
