What the DESIGN SDT9 tee is used for

The SDT9 tee is mainly used to create a 90° connection between a horizontal pipe coming from the appliance and the vertical section of the flue system.

This configuration is commonly used where the appliance has a rear flue outlet or where the connection must reach a vertical flue section located behind or to the side of the appliance.

The lower removable cap also provides an accessible inspection and cleaning point at the bottom of the tee.
